Bill Poczik

C. William Poczik Published on November 23, 1996 The Buffalo News Inc. C. William Poczik, 48, former buyer and manager of several record stores in Buffalo and other cities, died Thursday (Nov. 21, 1996) at his home in Buffalo. A native of Buffalo, he graduated from Clarence Central High School in 1966 and attended Nasson College in Springvale, Maine. Poczik had been editor and publisher of "City Slang", a Rock and roll literary magazine, and "New York Talk", an arts and entertainment publication. In Buffalo, he had worked at the Record Mine and the Play it again, Sam. He was engaged to be married to Stephanie Artis of Buffalo. Survivors include his mother, Grace DiGuilio of Williamsville, and a brother, Robert of Albany. Services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Amigone Funeral Home, 8440 Main St. Clarence.
