Subject: contact - and sad news

I am writing to you directly as I did not save any
collection of New D emails and am hoping you have
or know who has, and can forward the message below.

I am writing too all because I just found out that
Dan Danetra died - Oct 1, 2001. We had not been in
touch in a long time - since mid-late 90s.

Complicated circumstances around his dying, and his
wife did not locate our address and so was not in touch
till we had sent something to their home, wondering in
fact if they were still even there, and she replied
with the sad news.

So, I am rather shocked and numb and sad, because tho
we'd been long out of touch (we would get in touch,
then out, then back again, as the years rolled on)
I thought of him regularly and he was still a part of
my life in the corners of my mind. I remember his
vibrant spirit, enthusiasm, energy, sharp mind,
great passion, and something of the pain he had felt
in this world. I know too how much he loved his daughter
Daneille and his wife BJ.

Peace and love to all,

Monty

PS to Bill - he is on the website as Lenard Danetia -
Leonard was his first name, but he was always Dan Danetra.
And feel free to post the relevant part of this message
to the site. Thanks for keeping it.
