Yesterday I attended Arthur Messier's funeral and find myself checking this
site out again. In 7 years I've finally learned how to type! Who knew?  So
in the last year 4 of us have died at 59 years old(Cohen,Kurlanski,Socia,and
now Messier). Yikes, that my age. Quite a wake up call: and not wanting to
land up on my back looking at the ceiling and saying"Damn,I blew it" I am
retiring just before Christmas and moving to Costa Rica. Sounds surreal when
I write it , but there you go. Hannah and I bought some land there 2 years
ago and we have started construction on a mountain side overlooking the
central Pacific Ocean,above the tiny town of Portalon, CR.(google earth
doesn't really do it justice, but give it a go). I am in touch with
Holly,Karen and Bob,Sabu,Arrow,and up till recently Alice, who seems to have
disappeared into cyber space. The reunion last year was a blast and really
good to see a few people not seen in decades(Mike Harlow!!!!!!!)(Nick
Murray,Jerry Maizlish, to name but a few).My email until I move is still
jnhholden@comcast.net  and after I move(?) I will maintain a Gmail acct.

Love to hear from any and all, and yes there are spare bedrooms in the new
house for anyone who needs a paradise fix.  Jock

hi all you crazy campers God how I wish I'd learned to type when I was
in school  this is torture.Can anyone say viavoice? sure you can .I'd
