 Dear Friends,

I am in a bit of shock. I just heard that John Socia died this week from a
sudden heart attack. He would have been 59 this Nov 7th. My brother Chris is
the one who let me know - Chris and John have been good friends for a long
while. 

I hadn't seen John in 15 years, but this news is very upsetting. John had a
very successful business in Somerville, MA (outside Cambridge). A foreign
car repair place called "STREETWISE". John's long time partner, Lynn, and he
have 2 beautiful daughters, one 20 (Elizabeth) and one 14 years old. Please
hold his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Morning Marilyn,

Just heard about plans for John. Can you forward this to Bill K to post on
New D bulletin board?There is going to be a private funeral this week, then
a memorial service in about 2 weeks. I will let folks know when I get the
details. John and his daughter Emily, who is 14 (John's older daughter
Elizabeth married 2 months ago) had recently moved to a new home, his wife's
