Bill, I can't believe I came across your website today. I happened to run
into a classmate from high school in Canada yesterday while I was lunching
with my wife in Roanoke,Va.
Well--it got me thinking , hmm Nasson College, no way -the campus was up
for sale in 1983. Lo and behold, my heart was racing as I opened all the
web pages and cleared the cobwebs from my gray matter.
Do you remember the trips we made from your home in Cheshire to Springvale
in your Corvair? How about the time you ran out of windshield washer fluid
and poured a bottle of vodka or was it scotch into the reservoir so that we
could see the roadway. Yep, those were the days.
Since graduation in 71 I've been in insurance in various capacities, even
spent 3 years (73-76) in Chicago (Park Ridge) prior to returning to
Connecticut.
We moved to Virginia in August of 99 and bought a farm and now run a
retirement farm for horses about 45 minutes south of Roanoke.
The weather is spectacular here - no extremes of temperature as we're
protected by the Blue Ridge Mtns. Looks like you've been clobbered by
Mother Nature in the "windy city" this winter.
Judging by your bio you've done a great deal with yourself since departing the
hallowed halls of ND#1. I commend you for your efforts in attempting to bring
us back together. I'd love to see you and other classmates again. If you would
please post my e-mail address on the site.
It would be nice to hear from the party animals.
I see with great sadness that Gus Means has left us. Any details?
Well-- I've got to check the herd one more time , but when I come in
I'm going to have a tall one and see if I can't find my Nasson photo
album and have a nice reminiscence.
Cheers my friend, Kevin R. Massey-Shaw
