Larry Mahannah, New Division Charter Class Subject: photographic memory Date: Tuesday, June 26, 2001 9:00 AM As a person who's loved photographs for as long as I can remember, I feel fortunate to have one of a pivotal moment in my life. In September, 1966, my grandparents drove me from their home just outside of Manhattan to Kennebunk Beach. My aunt snapped the shot of us unloading a suitcase from their car in front of the Atlantis. Not to put too fine a point on it, but from that moment, my life changed. Lives, of course, change with every passing moment ...some fragments are simply more important than others. And I have all of you to thank.
