Hi everyone, and thank you to whoever is the guardian of the web pages for the new d. I've been meaning to try to find you for ages. I've just entered the 20th never mind the 21st century! I've been in a sort of self imposed exile for 13 yrs. living in England. I was at the reunion in ?1983-4? Is it really that long ago!! I then got involved in Buddhism after learning to meditate and well eventually married, moved to Maine and then in persuing the path of ordination in this particular movement (Friends of the Western Buddhist Order) I moved to England. It was very difficult and I almost returned to the US many times, but one thing lead to another and I eventually qualified as a yoga teacher, got ordained and given the name Shuddhasara (she who's essence is pure, genuine, undiluted, full strength) so don't get too many fanciful ideas about me! I live and work in Cambridge England where I teach yogaand various yoga and meditation holidays/retreats as well ,and well, just get on with it one day at a time , and my life has turned out to be here.. It's a bit weird as I was homesick for many yrs, but now feel neither at home nor not at home, which in some ways is ok as it just keeps teaching me about who I'm not . anyway I'm very saddened to see so many obituaries and esp. John Socia of course. Such a beautiful , loving man. Anyway I'm mostly well. I definately keep talking about coming to th us but not this year. I'm off to India for a training in August(monsoons) and teach really all year long with school term times off. Maybe nest year. Please post my e-mail address for those who would like to be in contact. with very warm regards, Shuddhasara
